Do Montessori schools work for two working parents?
Some do and many do not — the thing to check is whether the school day covers a working day in one place. Mills runs 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
A great many Montessori programs are half-day or end at 2:30, which leaves working families assembling wraparound care around a school day and paying twice. When you compare schools, compare the whole arrangement you would actually need.
At Mills the extended full day is a schedule you choose, not after-school care billed separately, and the same is true through the elementary years.
