Montessori-trained
A teacher who has completed a Montessori training course for a specific age range.

What it actually means
Montessori training is separate from a state teaching credential and is age-specific: a teacher trained for ages three to six has been trained for a different classroom than one trained for elementary. Courses vary in length and rigor, and the term ‘Montessori-trained’ is not itself regulated.

Ask where each lead teacher trained, and for which age range. Expect a specific answer at every school, including ours.
