Most private school websites treat price as something to be revealed slowly, after you have invested a Saturday. The reasoning is a sales one: get them emotionally committed first, discuss money second.
It wastes everybody's time
A family who cannot afford $1,400 a month is not helped by discovering that in week three. They have lost an afternoon and we have lost one too. Publishing the number means the people who come on a tour are people for whom the number works.
It is also a trust signal
A school that will not tell you a price before a tour is making a decision about how much you should know and when. If that is how they handle the easiest question, it is worth wondering how they will handle a hard one.
So, the numbers
Between $1,100 and $1,750 a month depending on program, days per week and length of day. A one-time $200 enrollment fee for new students. An annual materials and testing fee of $300 for preschool or $450 for kindergarten and elementary. Enrichment classes and hot lunch extra.
